What this site collects, and what it doesn't
Last updated: September 2026
tsunode.com is a personal portfolio. It has no accounts, no sign-up, no newsletter and no advertising, so there is nothing here that builds a profile of you. This page describes the three things that do process data — analytics, the AI chat assistant and your own browser storage — so you can decide what you're comfortable with.
Analytics
The site loads Google Analytics to count page views and see which sections people visit. It records the usual aggregate signals — page URL, referrer, approximate region, device and browser. I use it only to know which parts of the portfolio are worth improving. I don't sell it, share it, or try to identify anyone from it. Blocking analytics in your browser or extension does not break any part of the site.
The AI chat assistant
The chat on /chat sends the messages you type to OpenAI, which generates the reply. Messages are processed to answer you and are not stored in any database of mine — there is no chat history on the server and nothing is linked to you. Requests are rate limited by IP address (ten per minute) purely to keep the endpoint from being abused. Please don't type anything sensitive into it: it is a public assistant about my career, not a private channel.
Browser storage
Two small things are kept in your own browser and never sent anywhere: whether the sidebar is open, and which easter eggs you have discovered. A cookie named NEXT_LOCALE remembers whether you chose English or Portuguese. Clearing your site data resets all three.
Third parties
The site is hosted on Vercel and served through Cloudflare, which both process request metadata such as IP address to deliver and protect the site. Fonts are served from the same origin. Outbound links to X, GitHub, LinkedIn and Instagram are governed by those sites' own policies.
Your choices
You can browse the whole portfolio with analytics blocked and cookies disabled. If you want the analytics data associated with your visits removed, email me and I'll take care of it.
